Thank-you for your patience. There is a glitch with the 4 Mar 2008 DearMYRTLE’s Family History Hour genealogy podcast episode on the server side. I’ve been patient in that three times we’ve waited overnight for the GoDaddy.com servers to properly update the cache. Now the tech support people have given my incident report an “escalated” status.

So, in the mean time, here is a stop-gap measure for listening to the podcast:

When I tested this link just now, it immediately opened opened Windows Media Player and started playing the file.

GoDaddy.com is one of the nation’s leading website and podcast servers. Let’s hope they resolve the issue of the failure of their software to integrate my uploaded .mp3 file with the text and links that I provided as usual. BTW Gerhard, every time I attempt to reply to your @byu.edu email address directly, the ol' Mailer Daemon replies immediately that the email address does not exist.

FYI, The Media Player Launch Player link at the top left also plays the prior podcast. Could it be that the mp3 file did not get uploaded?

I have tried to open the Greg Rasmussen interview re Legacy v7. I keep getting the message "page not available." I have even tried disabling my firewall to no avail. I am running the latest build for Legacy v6.

Please advise.

YES, in any web browser, before clicking to view a new page, RIGHT-CLICK instead.

From the pop-up window select either:

OPEN in new window
or
OPEN in new tab

Earlier versions of web browsers did not support tabs. But either way, you can then easily switch back and forth between pages while listening the DearMYRTLE's Family History Hour genealogy podcast.
