He is the primary developer of Ancestral Quest, and by extension, of the current version of Personal Ancestral File. He has been involved in developing genealogy software since 1994. Prior to that, Gaylon worked as a computer consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area for 13 years. He currently lives in South Jordan, Utah with his wife, Gale, and their 5 children.
